I've selected "off road" on the menu ( tools / settings / routing / route preference ).īut any imported off road route is automatically recalculated to follow roads instead. i can transfer the file (done in "direct routing" in mapsource) to the phone and it does show on the screen.

i know my way around garmin software and gps units, been using them for a few years now.īut i cant get it to correctly calculate an offroad route. Downloaded garmin mobile XT from the garmin site and installed successfully on a samsung i900 smartphone, running garmin topo maps and windows CE 6.1 operating system.
